3C?S FOR QUILTERS-COLOR, CONTRAST, COMPOSITION
This class will be upstairs. Come spend a day exploring simple color theory for quilters. Students will do several exercises using fabric scraps covering value, scale, and color choices. There’s no sewing in this class but we will be working with fabric – students need to bring many small pieces or scraps in a variety of colors and patterns. We’ll put together great combinations to make a reference notebook for your future use. This class is appropriate for students at all skill levels. This will be a fun, creative day.
Supply list:
Book “A Fiber Artist’s Guide to Color & Design” by Heather Thomas – available from Lyons Quilting

You may want to bring a binder or a folder with you to organize handouts and exercises.

You can bring any type of fabric – it doesn’t have to be all cotton.
