Also, the top and bottom borders of the red and blue quilt are a printed stripe. You may create this same look with a variety of strips. Sewing machine with cords and instruction manual Rotary cutter and ruler (approx. 6 x 24)—Kara will bring several rulers you may use. Basic sewing supplies—scissors, pins, filled bobbins neutral color Thread to match owl fabrics OR black Sack lunch, or money to buy locally BEFORE CLASS Read through the pattern instructions. You’ll be given cutting tips in class, so you may wait to cut out the various pieces. IF, however, you feel comfortable (experienced) pre-cutting for class, go for it.
