ü¼” presser foot for sewing accurate ¼” seams (a guided foot is not recommended)

Class Information:

Jungle Magnolia is the 8th Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx Technique of the Month Paper Pieced Quilt published in January 2025. It uses many current paper piecing techniques developed by Quiltworx and introduces several new processes and techniques.  There are 7 classes for this quilt, each covering one or more groups in the quilt and new techniques.

We will use Quiltster to color our quilts in the first class or finalize fabric choices.   Please have an idea of the colors that you would like to use in your quilt.  You do not need to bring your sewing machine for the first class.  We will review the instruction booklets, review cutting papers, setting up fabric charts and organization.  During class, you will learn the paper piecing technique and then go home to complete the units.  The last class will be assembling the quilt top.  The classes will be a month or so apart to allow plenty of time to complete the units prior to the next class.

You will need to purchase the pattern from me in the first session or before the first session.  If you have any questions prior to class – please contact me before class.
