If you enjoy handwork and the quiet meditative act of sewing without the hum of a sewing machine, then join the “slow sewing movement” and let me introduce you to English Paper Piecing! It is fun, easy, accurate and very portable. Learn the history of EPP, the basics of glue and thread basting assorted paper templates, fussy cutting and stitching with both a whipstitch and flat-back stitch while making this appealing and practical mug rug/coaster, all by hand! I will provide the paper pieces and fusible fleece to make one mug rug, and more papers can be purchased to make more.
