WILD WOODS
ABring the wild woods inside with this small (24” x 24”) wall quilt. A delicately pieced bison, black bear, bald eagle and wolf are surrounded by a grove of pine trees. The class covers techniques for foundation paper piecing, curved seams, fussy cutting, and embellishments. This class is for experienced quilters who can sew precise quarter-inch seams.
SUPPLY LIST
● A copy of the pattern: “Wild Woods” by Pinecone Hill. Please read the pattern before class. ● Fabric for the quilt top according to pattern instructions ● Copies of the paper piecing templates in the pattern (standard copy paper is fine) ● Rotary cutter with a fresh blade, and acrylic ruler(s). Cutting mats are provided for use during class. ● Sewing machine, feet, bobbins and needles (size 80/12 is recommended) ● All purpose piecing thread ● A mini iron and tweezers ● Paper scissors and invisible tape ● The basics: pins, needles, seam ripper, fabric scissors, etc. ● There will be a break for lunch, so bring a sack lunch or cash for ordering take-out. ● Questions? sljonker@gmail.com or 720-204-8679
