More curves! They are so much easier than you think. In this class, we’ll use Sew Kind of Wonderful’s Mini Quick Curve Ruler to make any quilt from “Mini Wonderful Curves”. There are “sew” many to choose from – modern quilts and a nice selection of seasonal beauties. This is a great introduction to curved piecing.

Sewing machine with all the usual supplies, especially a quarter inch foot. I recommend using a size 80 needle for this project. In this class, you are expected to have experience operating your sewing machine.
Rotary cutter & quilter’s ruler – I recommend that besides the Mini QCR ruler, you bring an all-purpose rotary cutting ruler such as a 12 ½” square – Creative Grids makes a great one and it is available at Lyons’ Quilting.
All your favorite sewing notions such as scissors, tweezers, seam ripper, pins, etc. Mary also recommends Mary Ellen’s Best Press.
We will be taking a lunch break; you can either bring a lunch or we will be placing an order from Lyons Dairy Bar
Pre-class preparation: None. Mary can also help you with fabric selection during class. You will have time in class to cut, so if you’re not sure what to do you can wait. In this class, you are expected to have experience with rotary cutting.
